Funchal, the capital of Madeira Islands is celebrating this June 500 years of its existence and the European rugby veterans will be there.....fourthy teams of 15 nations, from all over the “old continent”, will join the President of the Madeira Regional Goverment and other guests on Sunday evening, June 22nd, for the Final Gala Dinner in the Town port.

.:24 of February:.                                                                                                                                        We allready have 40 teams confirmed!!                                                      It is crucial for the teams that have not yet reserved accommodation to do it right away through MILTOURS. Only the teams booking the selected hotels by miltours will be accepted to the festival.

.:19 of September 2007:.                                                                                     Great News: EasyJet the biggest low Cost airline in europe anounced the start of operations from and to Madeira Island for this next October 2007.Therefore it will be possible to flight to Madeira from London (Stansted) and Bristol airport directly to madeira at low prices.
