All participants (teams and individuals) should accept the following conditions.

 

1. Costs

   The costs of participation are divided into two parts:

     A. Team Entry Fee

     B. Individual Festival Package Fee

   1. The Team Entry Fee

      Every team wishing to participate in the Festival must pay 250 Euro on application

       

   2. The Individual Festival Package Fee

      Every individual participating in the festival must pay 120 Euro  for the Festival Package. This includes:

      Reception by English speaking hostess, at Madeira airport and transfer to hotel.

      Transfer from hotel to Madeira airport.

      Welcome Party with unlimited free food and drinks (until 23:00).

      Farewell Dinner with free unlimited food, drinks all night long

      Games organization.

      The Festival Package does not include accommodation or travel to/from Madeira.

       

2. Application & Acceptance, Payment and Deadlines

   To be valid, a team entry must be accompanied by the Team Entry Fee of 250 Euro.

   Acceptance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

   Once accepted, there will be no refund of the Team Entry.

   Payment of the Individual Festival Package Fee becomes due for all participants as follows:

   •  50% payment by 31.01.2008.
   • 100% payment by 30.04.2008.

   Any teams who do not pay by the above dates will be disqualified from participation - until payment is received - and may be replaced at the discretion of the Organizing Committee. (No refund will be made after 05.12.2007 if the Organizing Committee is unable to find a replacement team.)

   Teams must respect the rules and regulations of the Festival for the games (see Festival Rules) and all local rules and regulations covering Madeira and the playing fields.

    

3. Liability

   Every team and individual undertakes to be sufficiently insured for injury, damages, loss, etc., and any other eventuality from participation in the Festival, either during the games or at any other event organized whether part of the Festival Package or an optional programme.

   Other than gross negligence, the Porto Old Greens & the Regional Ministry of Tourism and Culture, EGOR and all persons involved in the organization of the Festival will not be liable for any injuries, illness, loss, theft, damages or other arising from participation in the Festival.

    

4. Disputes

   Decisions of the Organizing Committee may be referred to the EGOR Committee whose decision is final.
