Alten Preussen (Germany)

In the year 1994, more than twenty Oldieplayers from Berlin and Brandenburgia has founded the team with the name Die alten Preussen . They all cam together to play Oldie-Rugby at first by the 2nd EUROPEAN GOLDEN OLDIE RUGBY FESTIVAL in Heidelberg / Germany .                Result of today, the Golden - Oldie - Rugby has made an enormous progress in our part of Germany. Year by year  the number of oldie - players grow up and we has here our own good development.                                          All of  us  like to go arround in the world of Rugby. So we started par exemple 1995 in Christchurch / New Zealand, 1998 Kap Town / South Africa , 1999 Adelaide / Australia,  2001 Toulouse / France, 2003 Brisbane / Australiab by the World Rugby Festival. And in the  year 2006, we have take part  in Buenos Aires /Argentinia by ones of the famous  worldwide Rugby - Festivals which called VINTAGE RUGBY CARNIVAL.        In Europe  we are been by following EUROPEAN RUGBY FESTIVAL: 1994 in Heidelberg / Germany, 1996 Verona / Italy, 1998 Scandinavia - Cup Kopenhagen/ Danmark, 2002 Split / Croatia, 2006 Zurich / Swizerland.                                         In all the year we have us decidet to play by the  GOLDEN OLDIE SLOGAN „ fraternity,  frienship,  and fun „
