CDUL Veteranos (Portugal)

A SHORT RECALL OF CDULs' HISTORY
CDUL (Lisbon University Sport Club) was founded in 1952 by Eng.
Vasco Pinto de Magalhães and has won, at senior level, 17 national
championships, 6 national cups and 2 Iberian Cups. It is by far the
Portuguese rugby club with the richest curriculum.
CDUL rugby school is widely considered a national reference, not
only because of the high number of young players involved, with two
or three teams in each level, but also due to the game quality shown.
In the last decade CDULs’ under-18 team has dominated all national
competitions in which they have participated.
This unrelenting work is beginning to show with the senior team
again fighting for the championship.
The veterans have been playing regularly in national events and
occasional friendly games.
