ELCHE C. RUGBY U. (Spain)

The Elche C.R.U Veterans Association had his first public appearing in 1989 on the club’s 20th anniversary, although it wasn’t since 1997 when it is created, since then it has been active participating in homages to partners of other clubs, organisating partys and trips, etc.

The Elche C.R.U Veterans are presents in every activity the club organises. They train regularly with several generations of players who meet to remember the old times and play some matches whenever it is possible. Whit his behaviour they seek to be an example for the new generations of players in the club.

They have enjoyed rugby with a lot of teams such as the spanish La Unió Esportiva Samboiana, Alcobendas, Sevilla, Hospitalet, Arquitectura (Madrid), Getxo, Murcia or Denia. Italian teams such as Old Rugby Civitavecchia, Old Villa Panphile, Roma, Old Rugby Grosseto and Old Rugby Perugia Etruschi. Also some brithis teams like Bedwort, Dhunder R.F.C, Combe Down Baht, Bristol or Dongs R.F.C without forgetting the french Globe or the sweedish Vikings.
Our team have participated in the Europe Festival in Benidorm, Spain, and we’re very pleased to be able to participate in the Festival of Madeira, whose comitee we want to thank his kindness and we wish them luck with the organisation of the festival.
