Did not take part in the first European Golden Oldies Festival in Denbosch. Our best playing result to date

1994

Participated in the 2nd European G.O. Festival in Heidelberg.

1996

Winners of the 3rd European G.O. Trophy, "The Battered Relic" in Verona. Charlie Lutz our only successful team captain. Also won the Best Costume Award.

1998

Winners of the Oldest Referee Award at the 4th G.O. Festival in Aberdeen. (Gysin J)  Participated in a Vet's Tournament in Paris.

1999

Fourth place! in Bordeaux World G.O. Tournament; only beaten by Morocco, Reunion and Moscow (four teams participated in the competition).

Played all our fixtures in the 1st Amsterdam International Old Boys Rugby Experience.

2000

Redecorated the Club bus during the outing to the Perugia Festival.

2001

Partook of our first (the thirteenth) World G.O. Festival in Toulouse. Arrived in two waves. First wave by air (on time) second wave by road (late) Playing performance considerably enhanced by addition of three South Africans

2002

6th European G.O. Festival in Split. On free day hired ship (crew of ten) to return home. Free food and drink on board ship. Arrived at party in the evening where there was free food and drinks. Got well fed and drunk - then went to the casino (mistake).

2003

Attempted to drink Oz dry at the 14th World G.O. Festival in Brisbane (failed but close).Our playing strength greatly enhanced by the addition of our three South Africans.

2004

Benidorm: Good bar in hotel.

2005

Port Elisabeth the Gnomes saw lions and elephants and other frightening big animals - mostly South Africans wearing rugby shirts.

2006

Zürich. The Gnomes were hosts to Europe (helped by whole club) excellent festival. First appearance of "The Lady Boys" (the Gnomes second team)

2007

Haifa; Played Northern Israel, Southern Israel, the Israeli Army team and the St Petersburg KGB. Finished fifth
