Geležinis Vilkas - (Lithuania)

First step was in 1994. We tried to reach Heidelberg festival by bus. But in the middle of Poland the bus was broken. After  this first step we did another much clever step . We created Rugby veterans club Geležinis Vilkas(means Iron Wolf), Vilnius, Lithuania. And everything goes well from that day. After many years spent in rugby fields and bars we can still move with the oval ball in hands.

Of course today we are more oriented to non-competetive or semi-competetive rugby. But we can compete in devotion to EGOR movement with others. Geležinis Vilkas participated in EGOR Split 2002, EGOR Benidorm 2004 and EGOR Zurich 2006, also in many oldies rugby events in Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Czech republic.We even won the main EGOR festival trophy in Split 2002 festival - the Battered Relic Trophy. We were very proud.

So the grass is green, the oldies still strong and the beer is cold. Sorry, madeira wine.

We hope to try everything mentioned above in Madeira.
