Elders of Zion (Israel)

The Elders of Zion is Israel's oldies rugby team. It consists of players from various clubs all over the country. We first participated as an oldies team in the EGOR Festival in Split. Since then we have traveled to all of the EGOR festivals. During the non-Festival years, we have participated in regional Festivals, such as Rovigo and Prague.

In May of 2007 we hosted Israel's first Oldies Festival which took place in the port city of Haifa. The Swiss Gnomes of Zurich and the St. Petersburg Golden Oldies Rugby Club joined two sides of Israeli Oldies in an enjoyable event. which we hope to repeat in the future.
